The process for applying for a grant of probate involves the following steps:

- Allowing 14 days
- Lodging a probate application
- Addressing court requisitions
The fee for applying for a grant of probate is based on the value of the estate’s assets. If you submit a probate application more than six months after the deceased’s date of death, you’ll need to provide the court with an explanation for the delay.
